Most people keep a storage unit six months longer than they meant to. The math is brutal — a 10×10 in the Burlington area runs $150+ a month, which is $1,800 a year for things you haven't touched. I clear the unit, haul it, and you cancel. Usually pays for itself in three months of not-renting.

I've cleared units at facilities across South Burlington, Williston, Colchester, Winooski, and Essex. Extra Space, Public Storage, Cubesmart, U-Haul, local operators — doesn't matter which one, I can meet you there.

Facility deadlines: I handle them.

If you've inherited a unit or the facility is about to auction it off, the clock's the real problem. Most facilities give you a hard cut-off date — usually 5-10 days after non-payment — and if you don't clear by then, they auction the contents.

I can be on-site within a day or two most weeks, and I can coordinate directly with the facility office if you can't be there yourself. Just tell them Zack from Haul or Nothing is coming and give them my number — I'll handle the rest.

What it costs.

Small units (5×5, 5×10) run $250 flat. Standard (10×10, 10×15) is $450. Large or overloaded units go up from there. I quote at the door before I start — the number you hear is the number you pay.

If there's anything worth keeping I set it aside so you can look before I load. Anything donation-worthy goes to ReSOURCE or Goodwill instead of the landfill — no extra charge for that, it's the right thing to do.

Recently, We had an old chair that needed to go, but it was heavy for us and we needed a hand. I saw a new business on FPF, and I contacted Zack Lacey, owner of Haul or Nothing. Zack is a young, strong, personable and serious businessman, even at the ripe age of 23. He is also a serious student attending college at the same time, and had a successful car detailing business before this. He is ready to haul your old stuff etc to the dump, and he also cleans windows, and does exterior pressure washing/cleaning. He does this while he simultaneously attending college for electrical engineering. He is impressive, honest, hard working, and is committed to doing the best job promptly... and I would hire him again in a flash.
